In all cases, please ensure that you have satisfactory medical insurance for the duration of your trip. For further information please consult your travel agent as insurance packages vary. Pharmacies are easily recognisable and many types of medication are available over the counter including some antibiotics. There is always a duty chemist open 24 hours but these change daily. There is an opening hours list of all pharmacies open 24 hours in the windows of all pharmacies so the information is readily available.
Pets
When travelling with pets you must always carry the correct documentation such as certificates of origin which should be officially signed by certified vets. Vaccines such as anti-rabies and such must appear on the certificates at all times. Some hotels may allow cats and dogs under certain circumstances but this should always be checked with the hotels or travel agencies in question.
